Rentals

Northlea United Church offers various types of spaces available for community use from the Sanctuary and Narthex for life events and performances/recitals, to meeting rooms or the gymnasium for group events/classes.

Main Level:

The main floor of Northlea United is wheel-chair accessible through the main glass doors at the front of the church. This floor offers three gender neutral washrooms, one of which is accessible and one of which includes a baby change table.

Lower Level:

The gymnasium is on the lower level of the building and is accessible by chairlift. There is a children’s washroom on this level and an adult gender neutral washroom on the next level. The accessible washroom is available on the main level.

There are 5 parking spots in front of the

church and lots of street parking.

THE COMMUNITY ROOM

(1200 SQUARE FEET)

This room is perfect for meetings, receptions, and gatherings of all sorts! It holds 111 people. It has lots of natural lighting, a small kitchenette attached to it, couches and comfy chairs. Tables and chairs are available as well.

THE SANCTUARY

(3,700 SQUARE FEET)

The Sanctuary seats approximately 400 people, has accessible seating, a piano, an electronic organ and a sound system. The Sanctuary is often used for services, concerts and recitals.

THE NARTHEX

(920 SQUARE FEET)

The Narthex is the area just outside the Sanctuary on the main floor. It is an open area, with lots of natural lighting. It holds 149 people and is good for small group gatherings.

THE GYM (2,600 SQUARE FEET)

The gym holds up to 214 people. It has a full-sized kitchen attached to it. It is wheel-chair accessible via a chairlift that travels between floors. There are chairs and tables available upon request. This is a great area for the kids to let loose!
