Bronwyn loves ministering in the pines at Northlea! Bronwyn has worked with and ministered to several communities of faith. She loves preaching, teaching, and mostly getting to know people. Bronwyn was ordained in 2010, and has completed both a Master of Divinity (M.Div) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Toronto. David is a graduate of St. Michael’s Choir School and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music where he studied organ and conducting and has been dedicated to excellence in church music and choir direction most of his life.
Amanda (she/her) is a biblical scholar, an ordained minister, and a lifelong musician. She has an undergraduate degree in music therapy, a Master of Divinity, and a PhD in biblical studies. Amanda's professional vocation includes teaching on everything from biblical studies to world religions; interpreting the biblical text faithfully and responsibly for folks of all ages. In addition to her latest book, "Voices of Resistance: The Bible's Songs of Victory, Peace, and Protest", her writing can be found in academic journals and various publications. She moved to Toronto with her family in 2026 and loves to sing, enjoy the theater, kayak and embroider.
Jo joined Northlea with more than six years of experience working in youth ministry various GTA churches. As a graduate of the Community Social Service Worker program at George Brown College, Jo brings a passion for advocacy, social justice and youth empowerment. Jo works with the congregation to help live out its mission in thoughtful and tangible ways. Working with the minister and our volunteers, Jo helps to bring our mission to life through lunch and learns, community programming and through responding to needs in the community. Jo also is responsible for producing the Sunday morning livestream of the service at Northlea.
Robert manages the physical building and tenant rentals. His vast array of mechanical and technical skills keep things running smoothly. When the job is larger than one person can complete, he vets vendors and manages those projects. Robert also manages the rental space for both long term tenants and for short term or one time uses. In his spare time, he uses his creative skills to build sets for church pageants, booths for outdoor events or pretty much anything the minister or congregation come up with.
Tricia has several years of experience in Church office administration & bookkeeping and, before that in corporate marketing and communications. What she really loves about her job is the people and what she really loves about Northlea United is the congregation’s dedication to making a difference in the world.
