About Northlea

Our Mission

As a community of the United Church of Canada, we acknowledge, with respect, the history, spirituality, and culture of the Mississauga peoples who came to this place long before us, and our responsibility for the territory wherein our church resides.

At Northlea United Church, we love God, connect with others, nurture the spirit and serve the world in the community and for the community. We worship in traditional ways on Sunday morning and high holidays. We also offer alternative ways to connect with spirit through Taizé, Jazz, Labyrinth walks and Reflecting in the Pines, among others. As a community of faith, we reach outward to help those who need support in this world whether new to Canada or struggling to make ends meet by supporting organizations at the grass roots such as Flemingdon Park Ministry, The Neighbourhood Centre (TNO), or Youth Without Shelter (YWS) to name just a few. And in 2022, we embarked on the exciting journey to become an Affirming Congregation.

Robert Pringle

Robert Pringle

Facility Manager

Robert manages the physical building and tenant rentals. His vast array of mechanical and technical skills keep things running smoothly. When the job is larger than one person can complete, he vets vendors and manages those projects. Robert also manages the rental space for both long term tenants and for short term or one time uses. In his spare time, he uses his creative skills to build sets for church pageants, booths for outdoor events or pretty much anything the minister or congregation comes up with.
