JOY!

This Sunday we will explore the depths of joy. Joy is not about getting all we want or pretending to be happy when we’re struggling. Joy comes from the comfort of knowing that we are not alone, God is with us, even when we struggle. Joy is recognizing the beauty of creation, even as we struggle to care for that creation. Joy doesn’t let us off the hook, doesn’t allow us to relax in our comfort, but rather demands respect and attention. Have a joyful Advent everyone!
