Join Lee-Ann on a journey with the Psalms. We’ll spend some time in quiet reflection with contemporary versions of these ancient prayers, and share, as we are comfortable, with how they speak to us today. Bring a journal for your reflections and colorful pencils or markers if you’re inclined to be creative.
The small group process will use the Touchstones from Parker Palmer’s Circle of Trust and include Psalms from Nan C. Merrills collection, Psalms for Praying – An Invitation to Wholeness. Please let Lee-Ann know if you will be joining the group – firstname.lastname@example.org
The Northlea United Church Refugee Support Group plans to launch a Summer Clothing Drive. Clothing will be collected at the church between now and Sunday, May 30th and will be given to New Circles who operate GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear). This is a free clothing service that ensures that thousands of newcomers and other families who are economically vulnerable can meet their basic need for clothing.
